  3.                                  NOSE INJURIES

  8.                Severe nosebleed can be most frightening. It can
  9.                also lead to shock if enough blood is lost! Many
  10.                cases of nosebleed can be controlled simply by
  11.                having the victim sit down, pinch the nostrils shut
  12.                and lean forward (to prevent blood from running into
  13.                the throat).

  16.                Once the bleeding has been stopped, talking, walking
  17.                and blowing the nose may disturb blood clots and
  18.                allow the bleeding to resume. The victim should rest
  19.                quietly until it appears the bleeding remains
  20.                stopped.

  23.                If it is suspected that the victim has suffered
  24.                head, neck or back injuries DO NOT attempt to
  25.                control the blood flow as they may cause increased
  26.                pressure on injured tissue. All uncontrolled
  27.                nosebleeds require prompt medical attention!
